Absolutely loved our stay at Alvear Art and would stay again. The location is great- walking distance to bars and restaurants as well as a lavanderia, nail salon, etc. Felt slightly less touristy than some areas, which was a good thing, and safe to walk around. Gym and pool on top floor have a beautiful view of city and the pool is climatized, so nice in the winter. I had a massage and loved it. Rooms are nice- well organized closets with some very slight signs of wear in bathroom and curtains. But standout is service- they were able to accommodate any request (early check in, etc) and all the desk and restaurant staff were helpful and nice. Highly recommend.

Too short stay in Buenos Aires
Everything about this stay was excellent. The exceptional service by staff, the delicious food, the large and clean room, the awesome pool and hot tub. The location was ideal, centrally located on a quiet street in the Retiro, close to restaurants and easy walking to sights. This is the place to stay in Buenos Aires. We walked by many hotels and none compared to the Alvear Art Hotel.
