Stained linens and more
We stayed for OSU Parents Weekend. Upon arrival, we were told they could not provide an extra pillow. In our room, the pillowcases had obvious stains on them, along with stains on the sheets and duvet. The shower had several long hairs in it. All of the washcloths were extensively stained. We requested extra towels on the 2nd day and once I unfolded them, they also contained long hairs. The town was sold out so we had no option but to stay. We will not be returning.

It didn’t feel professional at all. When we walked in there were barefoot kids hanging out in the lobby and running in and out of the kitchen area. I assume they were children of the staff. They were there through the day and into the night. The man who was working the desk was in a T-shirt with the sleeves cut off and I think a skull on it. Not the normal professional attire that I’ve had in the past. It would have been nice if he was at least wearing name tags or something to indicate he was employed there. Also there were flies all over the front desk. When we got to our rooms all of the bedding was wet. In our second room it was so wet they asked to be moved. In the room I was in all of the bedding was damp but we didn’t want to be a problem so we just slept on it. Also, there was hair from the previous guest all throughout the bathroom. We have stayed at many Holiday Inns in the past but we will be choosing a different hotel next time.
