Great Stay!
Great stay! Location was convenient and right next to ocean, 15-min drive from Lihue airport, close to lots of restaurants. Great place to relax at night and wake up to sunrise. Price was affordable compared to other resorts in the area.

Dirty, old, rundown, didn’t feel safe.
This hotel is nothing more than somewhere to sleep. Dirty, old and run down. They gave someone keys to our room, who tried to get in late at night and because they couldn’t they had the maintenance man with a screw driver trying to change the batteries on the key card mechanism on the door. Quite scary as you are trying to sleep with your family after traveling for 16 hours. Beach is full of sharp rocks and coral, can’t swim. We only slept here for two nights prior to our timeshare stay. Wasn’t expecting anything fancy but wasn’t expecting it to be as bad as it was for that price.

Let me say, I'm so glad I picked this place to stay. This was my fourth visit to Kauai and we always stayed at a luxury resort but I wanted something a little different. When we first arrived, I was a little nervous because some of the outside buildings looked aged and worn but that feeling quickly changed when we got to our room. The property sits right on the beach. I don't think you can get a room with a bad view. It's beautiful. There's a courtyard about 20 feet from the water. Every morning at 7am they're a yoga instructor for all its guests. The grounds are so peaceful and quiet. Even at the pool was quiet. At night they light up tiki torches and it's very romantic. We left our balcony doors open the entire time. Listening to the ocean in bead is amazing. Nothing luxurious about the rooms but they are clean, spacious and comfortable. There's a really good steakhouse across the courtyard named Bull Shed which is outstanding. We ended up having dinner 3 times because the cocktails and food were amazing.
