The staff at Point A Edinburgh St Andrews square were great! The hot water heater for the whole building was broken for our stay, but the staff did their best in accommodating us and providing good customer service while trying to fix the issue. The location was wonderful and very close to the main areas of Edinburgh. The cozy double is cozy like we expected. Overall a great experience staying here.

The bed was to small in length my feet hung out of the bed(I’m only 5’10). There was no storage for clothes, the shower pressure and temperature was good and the A/C worked well. Noise from the building site outside the window was annoying. If you are just visiting for a night this hotel is ok but any longer I would look elsewhere.

Clean room available for early check in, slightly earlier than planned too, was very helpful. Greeted by friendly smiling face to explain check in process. Slept well, although on main thoroughfare there was no noise. Airy rooms, working lifts, great breakfast bar for £13 each. I would say very satisfactory and a great start to our tour of Scotland. Recommend.

Clean spaces, very central. Lovely, attentive staff. Breakfast was slightly underwhelming but filled you up (you could take a lot on the go, which is fantastic). Minus points for no fridge or kettle in room. This was probably specified but it is still something you expect. Would also love cleaning to be maybe more often than every fourth day. All in all a pretty good experience. Would recommend to someone looking for budget accommodation.

Hotel is okay for maybe two nights stay. It's fairly new so it looked clean and the staff was helpful but the rooms are small. The single beds are very small. Single beds. Large luggage take up too much space. But if you're young and are backpacking or have weekend luggage. Perfect place because of location. The best thing about Point A St.Andrews Square was the location. The breakfast was extra and barely adequate. The room was the smallest we’ve had outside of New York City. There was no coffee or tea. The room was not serviced the first 2 nights we were there. It would not be my choice on another return trip.

There was a kiosk check in. When we ran into difficulties with it, the lady at the desk scolded my 70 year old mother for getting it wrong and wouldn’t stay nearby to help out. Our room was next to a noisy pipe that kept waking us up in the night. They worked hard to try and fix it but it only partially improved. The man that checked us out was very helpful and kind. Five stars to that one.

Brand newly refurbished so very clean lines and everything fresh. Bijoux is ideal word to describe only problem was size of bathroom… not enough space for a tall person to sit on toilet properly in the room. We stayed I. Room 115. We would stay again as very good value for money during the fringe, but would request bigger bathroom if was an option. Other than that great location, very friendly and helpful staff

No shoe horn in the room! Only one salt container for all guests at breakfast. Egg ice cold and hard boiled obviously day before. Super good staff at reception and breakfast ladies. No hand rail at the entrance stairs. Not disable friendly
