We were harassed by the people selling the vacation club. They would not leave us alone. Finally had to get rude to get them to back off. We were interested in what the club was, but it is a totally used car sales approach to high pressure sales. A joke, and it should be an embarrassment to Hyatt management.

This property was beautiful! This is the place to go if your looking for a relaxing stay. The pools are amazing, beach was clean, food at restaurants was delicious. The buffet was also amazing! no complaints. If you are looking to leave the resort but stay in the hotel zone - a 6 minute walk to Toro, confessions etc. They are different places but in the same entrance. Kind of hard to explain. Toro is a restaurant with a party vibe and confessions is similar to a "club" both very boho and aesthetically pleasing. Sitting right on top of the ocean, a must go to. Along with TABOO - so much fun, a little further though. The resort itself is absolutely stunning and we do recommend.

This resort is absolutely amazing. The staff treat you like a vip and we didn’t even pay for the additional preferred club section. The resort is clean. We had fantastic massages in the spa. The entertainment is just enough where if you don’t want to participate you don’t have to but if you are looking for that sort of thing they do a great job. The food was good, probably better if you’re a foodie but I’m a pretty plain picky eater. Overall I will be back to this resort and highly recommend booking a stay here.

I just returned from a vacation at Secrets The Vine Resort in Cancun, Mexico 2/9-15/2023. A Five Star, 4 Diamond Resort it is NOT! I cannot express the disappointment in this trip which fell short of relaxation. I took the time to read all the reviews I could find prior to visiting and they were right on target! There was a septic tank-like stench in the lobby area which we had to breath for the entire stay. I heard about this prior to arrival and called the week before to verify. I was told there was no problem with a smell in the lobby. As soon as you enter the lobby staff are harassing you about buying into a membership, AMR Vacation Club, which is nothing more than their version of a Time Share. They will hunt you down until they wear you down to listen to their pitch which is a breakfast meeting for more than 90 minutes, then they expect you to make a decision right on the spot equaling somewhere in the neighborhood of $5000 down payment! After a stressful check-in, which includes a lengthy document you must read over in a dimly lit Front Desk counter, initial and sign, you finally get your room keys. The property is promising but needs some updating as it is 10 years old and shows signs of wear.
