Will be a long time before we go back we were put on a floor that was under construction and wasn’t impressed kids were up and sown the hall till all hours of the morning and people i the hallways talking loudly at 3:00 in the am

Stay at Paragon
Overall it was okay.! I had a comp room Friday and paid for the next day. What I didn’t like was I had to checkout and wait until 4 to check in but I still had a good stay. I took advantage of a movie and then visited the pool. I think better consideration should’ve been given being that I called in and reserved rooms 2 months earlier.

I am very disappointed with my stay here. Marksville is my home and i love the fact that the casino is there. For the price I paid i should not feel like I’m staying at Motel 6. Bathroom was horrible, it did not look or feel clean. The best part about my stay was the comfortable bed but I was up all night listening to people walk the halls. I should not be able to hear this. I feel like you guys are stealing people’s money and you are liars. You are selling a pipe dream and should be shame of this hotel. I want my money back.

It was what it was. Maybe 1-2 star for the cold ac
I typically have positive things to say about where I stay because I usually try to find the most decent but most affordable rooms. I was not impressed with Paragon & it had nothing to do with the casino taking all my money. When I walked up to the check in counter there were 3 behind the counter & 2 working. There was only one other person there so no big deal. The issue was they did not seem to want to check me in because I was not behind their little rope area that was clear at the other of the 6+ slot check in counter. Certain angles in the lobby did not allow you to see it clearly. If they had of said "the line forms over there" I would have moved. Instead they just looked at me like well come on up I will help you. I don't know how old the casino is & they had "PARDON OUR PROGRESS" signs up but the room itself did not have a coffee pot, microwave or a refrigerator. Problem is nothing was ever said. The shower head needed replacing but the water was hot and the toilet flushed. The beds were comfortable and the AC was cold. The TV was a small 32 inch TV which is small for the room size but it was also dark and hard to see but I guess they think people don't want to watch TV at a casino. Well you do if you loose all your money. Carpet in the hallway was in dire need of replacing as it was stained everywhere. The choices to eat were limited as well and prices were outrageous to boot. Not worth the $357 I spent to stay 2 nights.
