Nice hotel but won't return
This is resort is okay, but it’s not worth the big price tag. Out of all the inclusive resorts I have stayed at in Mexico, this is my least favourite so far. Here’s some pros and cons: Pros: dinner options were really good, staff is amazing, and the spa is great (for a big price). Mario at the pool was awesome! Cons: rooms are old and in need of maintenance (i.e., lights didn’t work and I got zapped by the outlet, AC was not consistent, bathtub didn’t hold water), the options for lunch are terrible and my husband and I both got food poisoning from the Barefoot Grill, the pool area is so packed you can’t find a place to sit (especially if you don’t get down there by 9am), the resort is pretty small and doesn’t have much to do other than battling the crowds poolside, people are smoking everywhere including their balconies which is very unpleasant, there are outdoor weddings almost everyday making it very loud each night, the night life is poor (just entertainment in the lobby or theatre) which are both meh, constant sales people are trying to sell you the vacation club scam, everything is an extra charge (nice tequila, use of their cabanas, scented oil for the massage, etc.), the App didn’t work for us the first day (our room service order just never showed up), and even though we let them know it was our honeymoon, they did nothing to make it special (maybe if we were a “preferred member”). We wouldn’t return to this resort.

Let’s start with they cap on the room you book. Picture was a whole different room than what I got. A bit disappointing and is illegal for false advertisement. For as much as I paid, the room was super dusty, blood on the vanity complimentary box, and a sex vibrator underneath the bed. I have pics/ video of proof. Food and drinks are trash. These reviews saying the food is good are lies. Also, I ordered a flank “steak” and I have no idea what animal it was but it wasn’t a cow 😫 and I have more stories like how I seen the waiter got a random glass and “cleaned” it with water and a paper towel. Good things: they do “clean” the room twice a day. Amenities/ activities are cool. Location is good as well if you want to be close to downtown and the airport. Beach is very rocky. My first and last time doing all inclusive. I did leave the property to get food and it was soooo good!

The property is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are very well-kept, and upon arrival, we were greeted with a nice glass of champagne. The bell-hop staff was by far, the nicest and most attentive of all the staff interactions. I was completely disappointed in the rest of the staff, especially the dining staff. At every restaurant we went to, the staff was horrible. They were extremely slow, not very attentive, and oftentimes, didn't speak English. I understand that English may be a second language for the majority of the staff, but to have a hostess standing at the front who can't speak ANY English- that's a problem. I was also dissatisfied at the fact that NO restaurants were open on Sunday, besides the buffet. Seriously? I remember calling room service one night and ordered a GLASS of wine- only for them to tell me the bar is closed...anyone can pour a glass of wine, that doesn't require assistance from the bar. That leads me to my next point. There's no reason why at least ONE bar and the pool area has to close. These should be 24/7 amenities for the price point at this resort. I know this sounds like a bad review, but it wasn't a horrible stay at all. Axel, one of the bell-hop staff was AMAZING!! He made sure that our trip was comfortable and greeted us every time he saw us. He truly stood out and made the trip memorable.

We loved our stay at this property! The location is great in the city with mountains on one side and beach on the other. The property is well taken care of it’s small but has so much to offer. We had a swim out room the pool was so private and nice we never even made it to the main pool in the 9 days we stayed. Service at this dreams property was exceptional. The concierge Judith was so helpful in whatever we needed. Ramona or housekeeping attendant was so attentive and did a great job keeping up with our room even though we spent a lot of time there. The food at all the specialty restaurants was excellent.

Staff were friendly and accommodating! Good location close to boardwalk and airport! Alejandro from Concierge, Axel and Victor bell boy got us taxi to town and transportation to airport. Evelyn from housekeeping very nice. Requested extra pillows and got it immediately. Himitzu teppanyaki food could use more flavor but servers were nice. Swim up bar cocktails were watered down but employees were nice. Coco cafe was one of my favorite stops for sandwiches and cappuccino staff were friendly! Check in and check out were easy!
