Receptionist very nice quick check in. Con: returning after a few drinks and dining found that there is NO electricity going down a wet metal staircase down to our rooms. Must install lighting and no slip stair thread on the metal staircase. This was unacceptable especially for me with a prosthetic leg

The air conditioning didn’t work and impossible to make it fix during the night. We got mosquitos in the room and a group was noisy until midnight. Not really good conditions for spending a sweet night. What a pity!

Better than expected!
I booked this hotel for 3 nights in San Juan with a friend. We weren’t sure what to expect but we’re very pleased with what we experienced. The room was clean and quiet (except for some noisy neighbors the last night) and the whole hotel was BEAUTIFUL. Our room had a walk out balcony with chairs and a couch which we used. The only surprise was the shower… which was glass and exposed to the whole room with no way to cover it. We just took turns on the balcony while the other person showered, but definitely something to call out. I guess good for couples? The front desk attendant was always available and also made delicious coffees. The roof deck (Terraza) was very nice and had a small pool which we used. We weren’t there on a day the roof bar was open, but they did have a vending machine upstairs to purchase drinks and beers. There is also a bar attached to the downstairs lobby, but again we weren’t staying the evenings that was operating… it looked cute though.

The building was beautiful, comfortable, secure and quiet. But the staff were not actively helpful when I came to them with questions. They had a more annoyed attitude when I approached them. I wouldn’t say they were friendly hosts. Allison, however, was extremely helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were also excellent and friendly.
