The location was very good. The breakfast was good and we also had dinner at the restaurant which had good service and good quality food. The hotel claims self parking which is correct but it is around 1km away and in a public car park. The worst aspect of this hotel was the service provided, and the attitude of the lady who was on reception when checking in and out of the hotel.

Good value, great location.
We were there for the Spring festivals and we were right in the middle of everything at this hotel. They even hosted a party for the locals in their restaurant one night so we felt like part of the community. If you weren't there for the events the noise would probably have bothered you but we found it charming...even being woken at 5am for the Awakening Parade! The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was small and outdated but was fine for a couple of nights. We would stay here again if our travels brought us back to Wolfach.

Nice hotel in a picturesque small river town.
Hotel staff very helpful and spoke good English. Good appeal on outside of hotel, in a nice intown location making it easy to explore the small downtown area. Beautiful little river town.

Fruktansvärt äckligt och otrevligt
Otrevlig personal. Nr jag kommer in på kryckor och frågar om det är möjligt att få ett hotellrum på en lägre våning säger de att då vi inte har betalat för det så är det att antingen hoppa 3.5 våningar upp eller betala ytterligare 50 euro. Nej tack. Beställer något att dricka och de fnyser åt oss och vi börjar allvarligt undra vad vi gjort för fel. När jag väl kommer upp visar det sig att toan ligger på en annan våning. Fönsterna är så lätta att vi kan höra folk gå utanför. Heltäckningsmatta är så gammal och slitit att den borde slängts ut för minst 15 år sedan. Kudden var en knölig historia jag undrar vem som bodde i den? Den luktade så surt att det var omöjligt att ligga på den och jag hämtade en handduk att ha som kudde istället. Detta var ett av de äckligaste och trevligaste ställen jag någonsin bott på. Frågade om parkeringen och de viftade åt vänster och så något på tyska trots att de pratat motvillig engelska tidigare. Väldigt trevlig och vacker by dock men jag rekommenderar ingen att bo på detta ställe

Obwohl mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und sehr gutem und persönlichem Service entspricht die Einrichtung vor allem im Bad nicht dem heutigen Standard für ein *** Hotel. Renovierung würde gut tun.
