Our unit was very run down. Would never stay again
This is the worst unit we have ever stayed in! Receptionist was friendly enough but our unit was so run down. So not worth the $215 when we had paid a little more days before to stay at Sky City in Auckland. Room wasn't that clean ants running around in bathroom and kitchen, spider webs and black mould. Only had a small 2 seater couch for a room that could sleep 4 and 3 dining chairs. Couch had been repaired. Feature wallpaper in master bedroom wasn't even centered. Unsure how this motel gets a 4 star rating. Maybe the newer rooms bring the grade up. Only thing going for it was location. Would never stay again.

Everything was ok except the bloody Bed & Pillows, the bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable, and the Pillows where huge and also rock hard. The check in and everything was quite pleasant, also close to town so easy walk for cafes & restaurants

We got put in a room above reception. It wasnt well cleaned and linen was stained. There was also a large coffee stain down one wall in the dining room.

We have stayed before in the new part and it was good except for some mould in the shower. This time we were in the old part of the motel. There was mould on the chairs and in the shower. The bathroom bench was expanded from being wet and the room smelled musty. We won't be returning there. The price was good, but cheap doesn't need to be bad.
