Loud pool party
This is a clean and reasonably-priced hotel. Everything is slightly above average. Not amazing. But, above average. The service, the food, the rooms, etc. A 7.0 or 7.5 out of 10. My one (significant) complaint is that a loud party was planned on the pool deck with gigantic speakers less than 30m away, and pointed directly at the building. I called at 10pm and was informed that the party would last until midnight. To their credit, they significantly turned down the volume around 10:30 p.m. after I (and presumably every other guest) called to complain. Still, the experience leaves me wondering if the management is prioritizing profits over common sense. In what world is it ok to blast speakers outside of a hotel until midnight? Are they making bad decisions elsewhere? I had food poisoning at one point during my trip. I have no way of knowing whether it was from the hotel food or from something I ate off-site. The pool party debacle makes me wonder if other shortcuts are being taken behind the scenes.

1. Ask for iron and till next day not arrive. Need a reminder the following day than arrival 2. Ask for loose change of currency, only indicate no change but did not offer to make available once available. Service can be better 3. Needed to be reminded on 1st morning for takeway breakfast. 2nd morning didnt even pass the packed breakfast to me though I'm checking. These packed breakfasts are prior arranged and ok. 4. The print out invoice given to me has no payment details! I only realized when on plane. How do I claim expenses on a blank invoice !
