4/10 Fair

I’ve stayed at many hotels around the area but this one by far was one of the worst ones I’ve been to. Hotel was not clean at all and there was a fowl stench throughout the hallways and especially the rooms. The hotel was in a great location, staff was very friendly and helpful (both English and 日本語) but I would never stay here again.

8/10 Very Good

Lovely staff - a decent and professional hotel. Wish rooms were a little bigger, but that's Tokyo for you.

Great stay outside of downtown Shinjuku
The hotel is really convenient and in an easy to access location. It's just steps away from the train which makes it great for when you have a lot of luggage and don't want to be hauling it all over the city. The location is pretty central in Tokyo too, so it's not too difficult to get around. It's not in the center of the busy part of Shinjuku, but just about a 10 minute walk away. However, outside is extremely noisy due to emergency vehicles constantly going by. If possible, ask for a room that doesn't face the street; even though the view is nice. The room itself is small, but to be expected in Tokyo. The amenities are nice and the hotel itself is clean.

2/10 Poor

STAY AWAY: Found a rat in the hotel, there are stains on pillows and sheets. The restroom is filthy, the room smells. The surrounding area outside is loud and trashy. DO NOT STAY HERE.

2/10 Poor

Hotel looks nice in the lobby but once you go upstairs to your floor… The carpet is stained and dirty. Rooms are tiny. Couldn’t sleep at all due to all the loud police/ambulance sirens and shouting on the megaphone. It was a terrible stay. Had to google it and there is a hospital near by. Wasn’t the best area to stay.
