We have used many 3 star hotels, but this one was more a 1star. Pictures on site makes it look good. We reported broken toilet seat and shower head on day 1, 2and 3, never fixed. Had room serviced once. Had to ask for clean towels. Views were non existent. Area very dirty, even for Istanbul.

20mins walk to blue mosque
We had two rooms on separate floors as they were fully booked. The air conditioning in 30degrees is terrible. One room had cleaning service and towel changes. But the other room didn’t and Had bad towels. Breakfast was minimal, simple and same everyday. The hotel does the job if you are out most of the day. Ahmet is the best receptionist, very honest, friendly and great with directions. We were in a great location, nice walk up a hilly road to the main part where the aya Sofia, blue mosque is. Lots of places to eat and try Turkish cuisines. We recommend eating before 10pm as then it becomes just Grilled meats which can be too much In the heat.

Great hotel not far from a few must see sights
The hotel and very comfy and cool feel to it. It's situated on a quiet road with a range of food places. It's a 15 minute walk to the grand bazaar or the Sultanahmet mosque. The staff are very friendly and most importantly were able to communicate with us in English. Prior to arriving at the hotel one of our main worries were the cleanliness of the room but more specifically the bathroom. However, we were extremely happy with the cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom. Bathroom was thoroughly clean and in working condition. We pleasantly surprised at the storage space for our clothes too. Beds were clean too. The beds were very comfy. Overall, me and my family were very happy with our stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They'll even give you ideas of where to visit if you get stuck. If you're looking to stay somewhere that's not busy (busy hotels are kind of overwhelming) but has good food (breakfast) very clean facilities and friendly staff then I recommend this place for you. It's within walking distance of some of the nicest sights and places in Istanbul as well as the tramlines.
