The location was great, it was in the heart of Dontonburi. The staff was also really nice and helpful. However, the hotel is pretty old and not the cleanest. They also didn't clean our room (they only clean every 3 nights) which would have been fine if they gave us fresh towels every day.

Great location
After staying in two other Ibis Styles hotels in different cities, this location was the lesser of the three. But conveniently located in Dotonburi and had all the necessities, I have nothing to complain about.

Eco-friendly vs. Cleanliness
I stayed in this hotel several times in the past and loved its convenience to restaurants, subway stations, and shops. However, the most recent experience had me reconsidered whether I will return next time. Upon check-in, the front desk informed me that my room would be cleaned (i.e towels and linens, etc.) on every third day of my stay. I guess they are trying to be more eco-friendly, which is totally understandable. However, when I entered my room I was shocked at dirty the room was. Without the need for me to move any furniture around, I easily spot dust and hair along the baseboards. The fact that the baseboards are of the darker shade, any dust become more visible. Perhaps, the hotel seriously need to rethink their initiative of being eco-friendly versus being clean. I have to say that I dare not to walk bare feet on those carpets knowing how unclean the room is.
