The property is located in a beautiful stretch of beach. Great place to go relax and unwind. Not so good if you want a a bit more activity and noise. It was pretty lonely. Also the food was substandard compared to the culinary wonders of Mazatlan.

Hidden Gem
This off the beaten path hotel gives you lots of quiet and privacy. Not a party all night place but that's good. Its a 40 min taxi to the city for shopping and tourist stuff. Facility has 3 excellent restaurants that serve delicious food. All employees were very warm and helpful. Will be back. The only negative was that mattresses were very, very hard.

The Estrella was a piece of heaven! After being in Mazatlan, the hustle and bustle of a city (which we loved), this property gave you the feeling of tranquility and peace! Golfing was amazing! Will go there again!

The resort was so relaxing and the staff made sure we had whatever we needed. I loved the fact that it was very quiet and we were able to keep the window open and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. What was cool was the turtle sanctuary at the resort. If you are looking for a quiet place with no loud music and to veg out by the pool, this the place to be. You are also on a Golf Pro course. If you are the type of person that want a lot of action you may not like this place.

An amazing weekend
The resort is amazing! There was more staff than guests and had the entire beach and pools to ourselves. Such a great place. One thing is make sure you have pesos for the taxis. The resort is semi secluded so if you want to go shopping it is an adventure but well worth it.

We stayed at the resort a few days before New Year and into the New Year. There were few staff working during this busy time. The food, room cleanliness and service suffered as a result.
