It is a clean place, boring breakfast not many options specially if you don't eat meat. Unexpected charges, but most of all, it has been two weeks since my credit card was charged for the so called "deposit", and the money has not been returned to my credit card account. They must be making money with this, with all the hotels they have around the world.

Can't beat this experience!
Property is in excellent condition and sits up on the side of the mountains offering a glorious view of Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommend staying here. The staff is very helpful and friendly always ensuring what you need is provided in a timely manner. From the time we got out the taxi and were greeted by the bellman, the experience was great. Our package through Hotels.com/Expedia offered free breakfast. The food was really good as well as we not only had breakfast, but we also ate at the rooftop restaurant.. Great service there as well as a wonderful view while dining in the evening. Location is close to downtown (approx. 15 mins) and taxis are available pretty easily.

Outstanding Experience
Our stay was amazing. The hotel could not be any cleaner. The staff were all wonderful and spoke perfect English. Special recognition to the bell boys, cleaning ladies (Ruby in particular) and the staff at the adult pool during the day. We ate dinner at the restaurant by the pool twice. The first time was amazing. The service was impeccable. The second time was not so good. After that we opted to go outside the hotel for dinner.

Amazing rooftop pool, great views, the food by the pool was surprisingly good as well Margaritas were soso, breakfast was nice with more local food Overall service was quite good, the only hitch we ran into was after checking out, we still spent time at the pool and they claimed our discount no longer applied since we had checked out... of course none of this was ever communicated and doesn't really make any sense

She loved it!
Stayed at four 4* hotels during this trip. Discerning wife thought Grand Miramar was the best. Only suggestion would be to add shuttle to Malecon and beach. Cabs are $5 or less so not a game changer.
