Disappointed with the rooster crowing starting at 4 AM and continuing for several hours. The room was next door to and above smoking that filled the room for some time each evening.

Our stay was wonderful. The grounds are gorgeous and conveniently located next to the Alpensia shopping and eating area. The buffet breakfast had many Western items and was by far the best breakfast we've had in South Korea.

Good and relaxing holiday. Resort facilities are better than Yongpyong. Bed is not comfortable.

Possibly the worst Intercontinental I’ve been in. From a room perspective, it was fine—typical IC property with Decent amenities. However, the shower was too short for my 6’1” husband to stand up in, the lights were nearly impossible to figure out how to turn off while still maintaining power to the outlets, and despite the hotel being less than 20% full, they refused to check us in until after 3 PM. Aside from that, the food and amenities were pretty unexpectedly poor. There is a single restaurant on the property—Even the bar food was served from that same menu, along with all room service. That wouldn’t of been a problem if The food had been acceptable and the price reasonable, but at $32 for a plate of carbonara, I expect it to not come scrambled, and $30 for the breakfast buffet should get me something other than hard waffles and under cooked sausage. The other restaurants on the property were open hours that we’re not conducive to skiers, and served very little food other than Korean. I have no problem with Korean food, but when they advertise that there are seven restaurants on the property and six serve Korean, that’s not exactly variety. The breakfast was so-so; definitely had better in other major hotels in Korea. No market type store within the hotel; only a small gift shop with some beverages. Room was nice.
