Great place! Close to town, really nice beachfront and great staff. The beach club in the hotel is a bit pricey for being Mexico but you’re paying for the experience and amazing food and drinks! Totally worth it.

Super noisy
The room we had was extremely noisy. You could hear heavy machinery behind us all night long. The room is connected to another building or establishment, as you could hear live music and talking. The sink is also very noisy when you turn it on.

Love the minimalism but wanted to sleep
The simplicity of this well taken care of resort is awesome for unplugging, and the staff is really nice! If you like to get to sleep early and wake early, the location may not be ideal. It may depend on the day of the week, but music was playing on both sides of our room. Super loud from the bar next door until late.

Funtastic Holbox Break-away
Our stay at Holbox Dream Beach Front Hotel was amazing. We met two of our favorite waitresses that used to work at Yum Yum's by George. (Kalina and Paulina - I think). Viviana got us rooms 4 & 5 next to each other and oh so close to the beach - it was relaxing and beautiful. Forgot my sunglasses on the front desk - on our way to the ferry. Joaquin jumped on his bicycle and met me at the ferry when I got off the quad ride there. Unbelievable Service!

The only thing we liked was the breakfast & the pretty beach. What we didn’t like: value for money- room is expensive for what you get - not even a chair & stand for your suitcases, 1 single towel rack. Sun beds etc are dirty & falling apart. Waiting staff is friendly & attentive. House keeping is slow & sloppy. Do not recommend this hotel or island for that matter - much better places around Mexico

It was a perfect experience. Beautiful, clean, the beds were so comfortable. Wonderful shower and beach. Location was close to town but also felt secluded. Friendliest staff. I can’t wait to come back here again. Was so hard to leave.
