It was on the beach. Lots of sun loungers and staff to help move them when required. Mostly geared up for Italian visitors as it is an Italian hotel. Would be nice to have had access to local tv programmes to give authentic feeling.

Great time!
We had a really good stay at VOI. The beach was wonderful, although the tide does go out for a few hours around noon. The managers were helpful- they booked our excursions and taxis with minimal effort from us. The room was nice and clean and enough space for three people. It is a very Italian heavy populace- the signs in the dining room are primarily in Italian. But it is definitely a great all inclusive option with a great beach!

F&B manager (Roberto) sempre presente, attento ai dettagli affinché gli standard di qualità e professionalità fossero mantenuti sempre alti. The pool and beach are amazing. The "beach boys" are annoying. The resort itself is big and nice. The food was just OK, but there was a large selection at the buffet. A good value for the money paid.
