Ideally located and a passable breakfast but sadly that's where the good stuff stops. It's a lovely old hotel that desperately needs some TLC, well worn carpets at reception adn up the stairs didn't leave a great first impression although the staff were helpful and friendly. Our rooms were tiny and had paper thin room

Nice vintage experience, but the hotel is a bit shopworn. One elevator "temporarily" out of service. Walls transmit noise from adjacent room. Doors are thin and you hear all of the foot traffic in the hallway. But not a bad experience overall.

Great Location, Great Price
Very nice lobby. Almost seems like a luxury lobby. But all I care about are low price and no bugs; this hotel did not disappoint. Plus it's very close to the interesting sites in the historic center of Bologna. Only issue is the top floor rooms are an attic and can get very warm like a typical attic. For me that was a plus: I sleep best when I'm baked (as in hot, not high). They do have windows you can open to air them out for those that need a more normal temperature, so I'd not expect it to be a problem for most people.
