Room smell of cigarettes and not in location expected but an apartment on another street
Very convenient location to the central train station and historic city center. The apartment has all the basic necessities one needs for a short or longer stay. Kitchen well equipped. Air conditioning worked well. WiFi was down for 1/2 a day and evening but once the room cleaning staff reset the main router, it worked fine again. The only feedback for improvement is that in the bathroom, there was a broken screw on the toilet seat, missing sink stopper and one has to be very careful with the direction of the shower head as the door is not sealed so water goes all over the bathroom floor. Overall a very positive stay, very good value for the money, and would choose to stay there again.
Good location close to train. Very spacious. On 5th floor with elevator. Tv and good wifi. Shower good pressure. Not enough sockets. Have stayed in Astoria Hotel several times. This was 1st experience in one of their apartments. They have several around town. Not sure you get a choice of location. I prefer to be near the train station. In apartment no breakfast included. There are several grocery stores nearby.
It was nice, staff didn’t give much info about anything. Apartment was fine nothing special.
Nice size apartment for a reasonable price. Good location.
Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights in March 2019. After the 1st person to showered, the hot water was gone. The tank is onky about a 10-15 gallon tank. We waited approx 1 hour for it to reheat, with not much luck. The last 3 had to get wet, turn off water, wash, then turn water back on to wrinse off. It was a cold night, so it was pretty uncomfortable. All 4 of us did the same for the following night, allowing each member of the family an extra minute of hot water. We were notified that there is room service only every 3 days. The apartment was a loft style with no door on the bedroom, but nice. It is located on the 2nd floor of a busy street, about a 10 minute walk South-East from where you check-in, 5-10 minute walk from Train Station.
Hotel is close to Bologna tailway station and an easy 10 minute walk to the old town centre
We stayed in one of the apartments on via Milazzo for 7 nights and had a great time. Very clean and modern (in the best of ways) and perfectly located to wander into the centre of Bologna (c1km, but it's a pleasant walk and there are many routes) or take day trips to Venice, Modena, Ferrara, Verona etc. from the railway station. Comfortable beds (and very good sofa bed for our boys in the other room), good wifi, fridge-freezer, dining table and small but sufficient cooking area. Great blackouts if you like a lie in, effective air conditioning and a good walk-in shower. Loads of storage and just a couple of minutes' walk from a Coop where you can buy fresh croissants and coffee in the morning and stock up fresh fruit and veg etc. if you're not eating out. Two decent restaurants within a minute's walk, though you may prefer to head into town for the views and atmosphere. Bologna is beautiful by day, and both beautiful and atmospheric by night. If I was going to gripe, the air con remote could do with some instructions (or perhaps just new batteries...though I didn't ask) and it would be good to be shown to the apartment, as even with verbal instructions, when you arrive knackered and have kids in tow, it can be easy to miss it first time. The owner was very friendly, giving us a city map and restaurant recommendations, and organizing us a taxi to the airport when we left (cheaper than four tickets on the airport bus) and making us tea and coffee while we waited.
- Check in was supposed to be at 15h but they gave us the keys only at 16h, so we had to wait in the lobby with our children that were tired by the day (5 months old and 3 years old) - The apartment we got needs renovation - dirty walls, old fridge (not working very well), some furniture was damaged, not all accessories available - not sure to understand how this is 3 star apartment - No WIFI coverage in the apartment - Good location of the apartment - Overpriced for the quality that we got
