Ok for short stay
Beautiful view of the ocean on the porch with rockers. The room was small but clean.The refrigerator was too small to be useful. We were there 2 nights but had only 2 paper cups for coffee. I asked for 2 more but did not receive. Cost was over $200 a night for after Labor Day. Expensive but that is the area.

Great getaway!
Check in was seamless and my room was perfectly clean and wonderfully cool. At 98 degrees and 89 percent humidity I was worried that it would not be. Lovely view of the ocean and quiet neighbor made the stay great!

The room was clean considering the beach proximity. It had everything we expected. The layout was a little weird and the neighbors were noisy but I don't fault the hotel for that. The location was great, walking distance to the boardwalk but far enough away from the noise. The view from the deck was excellent.

Disappointed
Upon arrival property seemed nice, but later found multiple issues. Property could not keep up on towels, toiletries, etc. Floor was filthy with sand, dirt, dust, hair, and dead bugs. Bathtub drain was backed up, dirty stains on sheets, interior door hinges were coming out. All issues were brought to the owner, who had little to no initiative to fix issues, and was also aware of a few problems prior to them being brought up. A few steps across the floor and the bottoms of our feet's were black. Issues were brought up for two days before we bought supplies and cleaned the room ourselves. Staff was not concerned with the quality of their guests' stay. I have stayed at beaches and other properties for almost 30 years and never issues like this or dealt with that little of concern from staff, let alone owner. The only positive was the beach access which was great.
