We had a delightful stay in Essence Boutique Hotel. The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The balcony especially was lovely. The pool area is beautiful with a mixture of loungers and beds. The hotel is well located for the beach, restaurants and nightlife and the staff were lovely. Would love to stay here again.

8/10 Very good

Good location. Few blocks from beach. Nice size room. Relatively comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet. Nice pool area. Staff friendly and helpful Lighting in the room was very bright and no way to dim. A/C pretty weak until I used ChatGPT to help me set it so it would actually cool the room. There are three jacuzzis and none were hot. All were maybe a few degrees warmer than the pool. Space monkey rooftop restaurant was ok. Nothing special. The one weird thing was the lobby had a very distinct smell, which to me was a combination of poop and a strong, cleaning agent or cologne or something

Nice hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Pool area is nice and modern with big day beds. Only thing I didn’t like is the rooms are on the smaller side and was bit of struggle for two adults to get ready at once.

Welcoming and helpful reception staff. No questions were unanswered. Bar, lounge, restaurant spotless. You can chill by the pool or one of the jacuzzies all day as the water in them is tempreture controlled. Even in a chilly evening you can pop in to the jacuzzi. 😍 Can't wait to be back, thank you all

10/10 Exceptional

I had a really lovely stay, the food was beautiful and the pool area well naintained-Lovely staff except for one male bald older bar tender, nay if been one of the owners on my both occasions approaching him came off rude. My biggest downside was as a solo black woman on my second night I was eating dinner and was asked to move half way trough my meal to accommodate what appeared to be a rude family with no regards for me. I was stunned and this wouldn’t happen in any other places. For this reason I wouldn’t visit again sadly.
