We stayed here overnight to be closer to Farmington for our niece’s college graduation. Lisa was delightful, the breakfast was scrumptious, and the room was quite comfortable. (As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathroom is just outside of the room, but that didn’t bother us—though I might recommend that a lock be installed on the door. Even though we were seemingly the only guests on this night, and had no issues, I could see where it could cause concern if other guests were also staying at the time.) We arrived later than we’d originally planned, and Lisa had kindly left us very clear instructions about what we needed to do settle in. We not only enjoyed chatting with Lisa in the morning, but were tickled to be greeted warmly by the adorable four-legged hosts, as well. We only wish we could’ve been there early enough (or more than one night) to check out the barn bar! Definitely recommend staying here is you are looking for a peaceful, affordable, and quaint place to stay.
