Unfortunately, you get what you pay for
One night stay, and if staying longer I would have changed hotels. This was my first time traveling in a year. I drove down from Northern California and arrived early, about noon. The best part of my stay was Clara at the front desk. She was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. When I asked if early check-in was possible she explained that check-in began at 2pm or there would be a charge (which I found annoying since rooms were to be left vacant 24-48 hrs between occupancies). I explained that I was going to boysenberry fest at Knotts and didn't want to leave valuables in car all day. She understood and waived fee, checking me early. That's when all went downhill. When I got to room, I needed the wifi password so I went to call...where's the phone. No phone in room, just a wire. I called via my cel. Then while wiping down surfaces (covid times, you know) I repeated noticed A LOT of dust. You would think with minimal hotel room usage, extra time would be taken to deep clean thoroughly. Then I found the broken toilet seat and a long hair on the tub. Later that evening, when I returned, I went to turn on tv...nothing. Not remote nor manual. Early night. In the morning, I found the filthy coffee maker. Then, very low pressure in the shower. DONE. Upon checkout, I mentioned several of these items to the young man at the window, even asking if I was put in a 'Out of Service' room by mistake. he shrugged saying "I dunno". Too many options in the area to settle for unacceptable.

I had to stay out side for checking at window outside and waiting for they talk on phone, whether cold out side very uncomfortable. Got in room everything so dirty . Carpet old and dusted around . Refrigerator doesn’t clean. I have to called them come over for they check up and have to change another room.That happen really I felt very uncomfortable .

For the improvement of customer experience
- Upon arrival, I was informed that check in time will be pushed up to 2 hours. As a customer, a little heads up will be nice to aknowledge the appreciation of a customer's business vs looking forward to beginning a day of relaxation only to realize you will have to wait passed the 2pm check in. -check in felt a little rushed which I do not mind due to understanding of efficiency. This led to my lack of information such as wifi access code(s) needed for the remainder of my stay. -front desk was called several times to resolve such issue throughout the night and no answer so I gave up on having internet access. -overall environment in the morning is extremely loud, so sleeping in is perhaps subject to your timing and/or chosen day. (Perhaps out of anyone's control anyway) The room in general was very clean and the jacuzzi suite is beautiful. This review is to highlight the opportunities for improvement of customer experience. I would love to book another stay here but after feeling a lack of priority especially as a first time guest in this place, I shall consider several places beforehand. My apologies, but not the most satisfying experience and I was unfortunately left with the feeling that I overpaid for a subpar experience.

Spacious room Check in could be a lot better. Employees attitudes are not world class customer service. Not sure that they really want to be there. Could not explain waivers to be signed. Their response was “ I have never read it”, but you want me to sign it? Lol
