Great position, no view but verandah, average room for the price but shocking bed comfort, we stayed 3 days and have never suffered from back ache anywhere in the world, we met other people from the hotel with the same comment. Replace the bed and we may consider returning, maybe.
The walls are paper thin so having to listen to the old couple next door talking etc was not much fun. Also the grounds keepers mowing before 7:30am killed the sleep in.
Service and staff were fantastic. Location is very nice. Condition and bench space in the bathroom left something to be desired including a smell coming from the floor drain. Several satellite channels did not work, a message came up saying they were temporarily unavailable and to try again later. I tried many times during our stay but to no avail. The hotel is nice but overpriced.
First day the cleaners 'forgot' to straighten our room but otherwise given the COVID restrictions we were happy with our stay. I do think it is time that they rethought their bathrooms though. We have stayed her a dozen or more times so know what to expect but there is zero counter space for putting items and this particular room's bathroom has fixtures starting to fall off the walls. If you get past that all was good.
Air conditioning didn’t work, would of been fine but we didn’t have any windows to open. When I booked I was led to believe we had a balcony like the picture. With the price I paid I would of thought we definitely had a balcony. When we informed the lady about the aircon she said she would get some one in to look at it. Never asked how the stay was or sorry for the inconvenience of having no airflow throughout the room.
Booked in with my husband for 1 night for my birthday. The hotel was very nice. The rooms were well presented and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there was no bath only a shower. The location was good.
Sebel Kiama had most modern conveniences. The room and bathroom were superb. Reception team were friendly and helpful. Close to harbour, shops and restaurants. Overall great short stay with surprise upgrade. Will come back.
Was a bit disappointed considering what we paid. Rooms are average & the towel rack in our bathroom was broken as well as other little things that needed attention. Power went out in whole hotel for a while & lift near our room wasn’t working all weekend. Restaurant was average, expensive & long waiting times.
Beautifully situated right on the harbour. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant excellent, good value.
Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Dining room has lovely views over the park area and water. Food is ok. If you want a room where you can open the window, you need to book a balcony room. There is very limited storage or hanging space in the bedrooms and NONE in the bathrooms. Towel racks but no shelves or bench space, just a stand alone sink.
