Wrong choice, complete disaster
This is a total disaster. No reception for check in. Hotels.com confirmed the booking but Eversunshine Residence wasn't aware of the booking at all. Obviously there was a huge communications gap. After hours waiting in late night, Eversunshine Residence confirmed no partnership/relation with Hotels.com and kicked me out at 10:30pm. All payment was made to Hotels.com ahead of time but till now no one reached back to me to handle this.

Great for family - not luxury but very functional
We booked a 3 bedroom suite for a big family. It’s a two story apartment style hotel. 3 bedrooms and a full bath are on the upper level while a small kitchen and living area along with a half bath (toilet only) are on the lower level. The windows need cleaning. Bathroom and bedding are clean. Mattress is extra firm and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast is great - way better than what we get in USA. It even has a balcony. In a nice area. We got a good price. Can’t believe the deal!

Great place to stay in Shanghai.
I was having trouble finding a decent place in Shanghai without spending a small fortune. Most places in Asia are 2 twin beds maybe 2 full beds. First of all we travel alot and we always bring our 3 kids. 6, 5, and a 2 year old. We brought the kids to Shanghai Disneyland and now wanted to explore the city for 4 days. Found this lil gem by accident. It's huge! The shower is updated and huge....could shower 3 kids no problem. Upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs you have a King size bed...downstairs has a pull out sofa bed. Comes with a refrigerater, microwave, coffee maker, stove(which we didn't use). The place is clean, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the 2 a/c units blew ice cold. Air conditioning worked so good we had to turn it down. There's a convenience store across the street and the metro is north about a 10 min walk on Pudong or you can take a taxi everywhere it's cheap. If you need a big place in Shanghai you found it. Staff is great, they speak English and will help you call a cab to the airport.

Just below my expectations
Though I asked for a non-smoking room, I could smell someone had smoked in that room before. There're cigarette burnt marks on the carpet. There're cigarette butts on the balcony floor. For the room service, the staffs were very helpful. They allowed us to get the room earlier. For fixing the appliances in the room, the staff turned out within minutes.

Helpful staff
Lot of space. Free shuttle service to nearby metro station and places of interest.(once in the morning). Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. However the room was a bit too cold and mattress on the bed was a little hard. The shower area smelled a bit weird. Staff weren't fluent in English but helpful otherwise. Overall it was a nice stay and I felt safe. This place is quite affordable and I'll recommend it to people.
