We absolutely fell in love with this area and felt at home straight away - and so much of that is due to how wonderful Hotel Wasserfall was. Comfortable, quiet, perfectly located, friendly staff, beautiful food - we couldn't ask for more. We will happily book here again next time we come to Switzerland. Many thanks!

It was my third stay at the Hotel Wasserfallen, and I have never been disappointed. The place is lovely, very cosy and well maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the village and area around are stunning. Perfect mix between hillwalking (if you are into this!) and relaxing moment! Will come again!

The manager, Loïc, greeted us by name when we first arrived—we must have been the last guests expected that night. He was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a family room with three bunk beds (so six beds total). Everyone was comfortable. Our room had one bathroom with a sink and toilet and another bathroom with a sink and shower. That was convenient for getting ready in the morning. The room looked brand new and was very clean. We left the windows open at night and enjoyed the fresh air. It was a really quiet overnight, with the sound of the waterfall across the street in the background. It was a really nice change from our stay in Geneva. Breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, hard and soft boiled eggs, bacon, croissants, breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, cereal, juices, coffee, and hot chocolate. We ate the restaurant for dinner one night, and that was really good too.

Great stopping place

This place is immaculate and the breakfast delicious with a great local variety. The view of our room was not so great but I am sure there are rooms that have good views. It was a great stopping place on our way to Interlaken. They were very accommodating. Breakfast was planned to start at 8 but because we wanted to get an early start to Interlaken, they had it ready early for us. It is right across the street from a beautiful waterfall with an easy hike down to it.

Sehr schön gelegen, freundliches Personal und feines Essen. Sehr sauber und ein tolles Badezimmer! Kein Kühlschrank oder Safe im Zimmer und die Sicht im Schäfchen-Zimmer geht auf eine Wand und einen Durchgang. Die Zimmerdecke ist nicht sehr hoch, grosse Menschen buchen also besser ein anderes Zimmer. ;-) Das Einzige, was mich wirklich gestört hat, waren die vielen Fliegen in den Speisesälen...
