The manager, Loïc, greeted us by name when we first arrived—we must have been the last guests expected that night. He was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We had a family room with three bunk beds (so six beds total). Everyone was comfortable. Our room had one bathroom with a sink and toilet and another bathroom with a sink and shower. That was convenient for getting ready in the morning. The room looked brand new and was very clean.
We left the windows open at night and enjoyed the fresh air. It was a really quiet overnight, with the sound of the waterfall across the street in the background. It was a really nice change from our stay in Geneva.
Breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, hard and soft boiled eggs, bacon, croissants, breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, cereal, juices, coffee, and hot chocolate. We ate the restaurant for dinner one night, and that was really good too.
