The hotel was top notch, my only issue was the parking. It doesn’t make sense to pay for a room, as well as pay for parking which was not clear in booking.

Parking fee? Nah. Park on the street with an APP!
The hotel was very clean and the staff were wonderful. Only one thing I have to mention. The last time I stayed, I paid for parking, which I think was $25. This time I was hesitant to pay for parking again, the staff finally revealed that I could park on the street, but it was like $2/hr. What I found out was the street parking is FREE from 9 PM to 8 AM. So I could just park on the street (right outside the hotel) for free (I arrived after 9 PM)! There's an APP you can download and pay online, which I did the next morning. It was so easy. Wish they could just tell me about street parking, instead of trying to charge parking $25.

Quick City Trip
Very much enjoyed our overnight in New Haven. This was close enough to where we were 'spending the evening with friends' so we could walk to and from, which was great for the summer night. Will return!

Bad Service
Horrible service. Our fridge did not work and food that we bought went bad. We asked for help several times and they gave us an email to talk to someone who was not there and they never responded. They did not help at all. Also, I applied for a government discount and they did not honor it. Horrible service
