Quaint charming hotel
This is a beautiful hotel with old style charm and character. Large parking area behind the hotel, and a carriage house behind the hotel with lovely rooms. Off the main lobby is a beautiful bar/ lounge area. The restaurant area and larger meeting/ banquet rooms are off the lobby also. Located in the middle of a quaint downtown area. There are lots of shops and cafes to wonder and visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel
The hotel was visually stunning, historically interesting, very comfortable and clean. I wish we’d requested a balcony room- next time! The staff we encountered were friendly, but they were also clearly understaffed, so prepare to wait for service at times. The food and drinks were hit or miss- some was amazing, some didn’t hit the mark. Overall, we enjoyed our stay- the redesign is absolutely perfect.

Nice restoration.
Nice renovated historic hotel. Parking is minimal and lot is open to anyone eating/drinking/staying at the property, they don’t reserve spaces for hotel guests, we were told look for a spot on the street. We stayed in the back house, our room was right next to the main door, so starting at around 6am we had people going in and out slamming the door. They also put out coffee in the hall right in front of our door which had people and kids congregating, talking and clomping around early in the morning.

We’ll be back!
We live about an hour away and needed a little getaway for two before Christmas and to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday. Holbrooke was all that we were hoping for. Friendly staff, delicious food at Golden Gate and Miracle was set-up in the bar downstairs. Magic!

I did not like that we were not told how small the room was there was hardly room to turn around in it. that would have been nice to know. The hotel was neat being as old as it was and the location was good.
