got there late in the day. cool looking and no problem chk in. got to room turned on tv, remote doesnt work. front desk cant fix. too tired to watch tv anyway. toilet paper holder and hand towel rack have been broken off the wall. toilet seat not attached to toilet no seat cover bad vibes. notified front desk about toilet seat and cover i taped the seat to the commode. day 2, get back to hotel, housekeeping didnt show up. no fresh towels, no trash emptied, bed not made, toilet seat not fixed, cover still gone. when i pointed this out to front desk they told me that i had me that I had to request housekeeping services and stated that fixit man only came once a week but they didnt know what day. out to dollar general to buy screwdriver to fix toilet seat which i did but toilet lid still missing.I requested room service for next day.day 3 bed was made, fresh towels left on bed trash emptied, remote still not working but i needed the exercise. requested that housekeeping empty the large trash can on day 4. Return on day 4, trash filled wastebasket still trash filled.Looking forward to leaving next day. GOOD PTS- GOOD PRICE, VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR OUR NEEDS, GENERALLY FRIENDLY STAFF, GATED PARKING, GOOD COFFEE{WHICH HAD TO BE REQUESTED ONE CUP AT A TIME- same went for ice, one cup at a time, upon request} ....NOT SO GOOD- NO MANAGER ON SITE, NO ICEMAKER, NO MINI-FRIDGE, LACK OF RESPONSE TO ISSUES IN ROOM, OFTEN HAD TO WAIT FOR 'STAFF' TO PUT PERSONAL PHONES ON HOLD .

Sort of more hostel style than hotel. Bare bones. The price was good, especially for JazzFest time when prices go up. Really liked the secure, locked parking lot-no worries about car safety. Daytime desk staffer was great.
