I liked: Location close to meeting site. Close to transportation choices. Good value for the money. I had a very quiet room. Things that should be improved or changed: Old tube-type TV. No Kleenex. Cost of breakfast is too high at Euro 13.

Double booked - no rooms available on arrival
Arrived late on the evening for check-in and the hotel was double booked, no room was available - they eventually found me another room in another hotel quite some distance away at 3:30am - unacceptable

No free parking or air con
A grumpy receptionist informed me that contrary to the Hotels.com listing there isn’t a free car park. There’s one nearby for €20/day or street parking if you can find it. Once I had parked and walked back to the hotel I was irritated to need two different lifts to get to my room. The room was south facing with large windows and no air con. The weather on the day was sunny 40C. I didn’t get to sleep until 2am. I skipped breakfast and had a generally miserable time.

Dirk&Emma
Receptionist on duty July 30, 2018 was very rude. She treated me as if a criminal. Little did she knows that i was born and raised with Lawyers so i think i should have knowledge of Basic Law. If she doesn’t know how to cancel my booking through Expedia she should ask someone else before contacting and calling me in my room early in the morning. She wanted me to come down right away(german=sofort) i was just preparing myself in the bathroom. I felt so awkward like i have been harassed. I paid all my bills for 2 Nights stay using Euro Card. I was a fraud victim, i’m very careful in terms of Internet Payment now using German Prepaid Credit Card. Anyhow this receptionist is not capable of handling valuable guests. She probably needs to learn more about hospitality and computer programming. This hotel is not recommendable for as long as they have Staff like her. Feel sorry for her. So helpless and lack of knowledge.
