Got screwed by hotels.com
I was disappointed with hotels.com,not the hotel.I didn't like the fact that when i checked in on Saturday the price of the room had changed from what i booked it for,i booked it for 217 dollars,total price,weekend rate i realize,but when i checked in it was almost 280 dollars,very frustrated with that,i will not book a room again with hotels,com.i should be refunded my money for that poor business practice,i would hope that hotels,com doesn't do that 😢 on every booking,there very pissed at hotels.com

All good except for housekeeping.
Overall, very good. The front desk staff was cheerful and always available. I stayed for two nights and had to go take my own towels and trash bags off the cart about 5pm the first evening. My room had not been touched all day. I'm not a slob, so no biggie- just expected to come back in from a long day and see my room straightened and freshened.

Waiting for refund
Although I had prepaid for my rooms, upon arrival one wasn’t available and 5 days later still no refund of the charges as promised. Staff was super nice in explaining the ice storm and conditions, but I would have thought the refund would have taken place the same day. Was also explained that maid service not available, so the 4 night stay without housekeeping was a bit unexpected at a La Quinta branded hotel

A nice hotel. Some of the remodeling was a little sloppy. Paint on the tile etc. I find this is the case in most remodeled hotels. Overall it was a pleasant place to stop for a night on the road. Coffee was very good. The only hiccup was that the signage in the lobby and on the doors in the rooms said check out was 12 Noon and our key stopped working at 11:00. I guess the sing is wrong and check out is at 11 so I had to get my keycard rescanned. They were very nice about it.
