Amazing staff and gorgeous food
Absolutely cannot fault this hotel, staff were over and above amazing and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They sorted out finding the Grand Prix on the TV for us to watch in the reception area and remembered that my mum has food allergies, so they brought her special gluten free rolls every morning as well as lovely jam! So thoughtful. The hotel is clean, spacious and the food is beautiful. Yes the location suits business people and is not in the centre of town but we loved this as it was so quiet after a busy day sightseeing. The tram is only up the road and a direct line into town only around 3-4 euros. The hotel is very clean and modern. Our first trip to Amsterdam and we will most definitely be returning!

Great clean hotel-limited food options
I can only speak of my experience - We booked a 5 day stay at this place but had to checkout early after 2 days. Both my wife and i are strict vegetarians and had very limited food options at breakfast the first day we arrived here. There is also no microwave available inside the room to heat your own food. When we asked the hotel reception if we can use the kitchen microwave to heat our 'restaurant' provided food they agreed - but the next day when we asked the hotel staff to help us heat the packed food, they declined. My wife needs to take medication every morning along with breakfast and it was highly important for us to have something available that we could eat. Not having that faculty disappointed us and we escalated this to their manager. The manager agreed to help us, but all this commotion took over an hour and was a waste of time for us. We decide to check out immediately and booked another hotel that had a microwave and fridge. These are considered very 'basic' amenities and i had assumed these would be available at a 4 star property. I guess i was wrong and need to read the fine print while booking.
