Not for everyone
While at a very reasonable rate for Palm Beach, there are many caveats when staying here. First, the room is small and while it has a sink, it doesn't have a shower or bathroom- like in many European hotels, they are down the hall. Second, there is no elevator. Third, parking is not free-one has to use the parking meters or other spaces outside; either with quarters or using the app. And with the meters it's a 4 hour limit(the vehicle has to be moved afterwards). Good news is from 9pm to 7am parking is free(the meters shut off). The staff was pleasant and the hotel has a pleasant retro feel like from the 1920s and is very elegant. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well so it all made for very likeable lodging. If you're able to be flexible, the Evernia Hotel will provide for an enjoyable experience.

This is a Hostel, not a hotel. You’re sharing a bathroom with all the other guest. Rooms are tiny. There was a fridge, partially blocking a locked door, that was within 8 inches of the foot of the bed. Walls are paper thin and I heard another guest coughing most of the night. Called 5 times to talk to someone with the hotel and each time got forwarded to some answering service in NY. The manager, Omar, never returned my call and only sent generic texts. The area is great and walkable, could be a good fit if you’re young and on a budget and looking to party. But stay anywhere else!

Old and very dated. The air conditioning did not work properly in the first room I had, but they changed my room to a better one and the air conditioning worked fine.

Blast from the past! Slightly tacky decor and lacking electrical outlets to charge phones and use my hair dryer. But it was cool and comfortable. If you are looking for the Marriott you should go there.
