I wouldn't stay here again
Not at all impressed with this hotel. From the moment you enter the lobby and lifts the smell is overwhelming. We paid extra for a sea view room but had a room at the side of the hotel. To be honest if you stood in the right part of the room and looked in the right direction you could see the sea. The air conditioning had been switched off so there was no ventilation without opening the windows. However there were two or three very loud bars outside the hotel. So you had the choice of a hot and stuffy room or put up with the noise from outside. The room was reasonably clean but the ensuite bathroom had not had a proper clean for a long time snd there was black mouldgrowing in the shower. There were no plug sockets next to the bed so was unable to plug in a CPAP machine I use at night. The only redemption for this hotel came from the staff. They were all.very friendly helpfull and cheerful. I would

It's fine, if your expectations are low
Stayed for 1 night. Entered the foyer and was hit with a musty smell. The lift up to reception smelt the same. The reception staff were lovely but that was unfortunately to be the highlight of this stay. The hall carpets were stained all over, leading to our room. The room was tiny but had everything we needed so we weren't fussed by the size. However, the fact that I could write 'clean me' in the grime on the window, the extractor fan in the bathroom that was clogged with dust and the piles of dust that was in the corners of the room just made the decision for us, that we wouldn't come back. Went down for breakfast, for which they charge £10 and was greeted with tea/coffee and cereal, toast and some mini pastries. They market it as a continental breakfast - there wasn't even cheese or any bread rolls. The staff try their hardest to be welcoming and they are, but to put it absolutely bluntly - they can't polish this turd. It's recently been taken over by this hotel chain but I feel like they've done nothing with it. It needs deep cleaning and updating but it appears there isn't the money for that.
