Underwhelmed!
The hotel gave the impression of grandure but when we got to our room (when we eventually found it!) What a disappointment! It was outdated, within 10 minutes of our arrival a maintenance man just strolled in (without knocking) and said he needed to fix the bath. (We were not told there was an issue and he did not know we had checked in. (Its a good job we were not getting undressed!) The toilet seat was not secure, the extractor did not work in the bathroom and when we showered it flooded the entire floor of the bathroom. It was also very noisy as it is on a main road. No bars within the hotel were open either and we were desperate for a drink! There was paint on the light switches and the slot for the room card key did not work either. Mini bar is empty (you have to request room service,) and the powered milk for the tea was solid. How disappointing!

Weekend Break in Winter
We have been choosing this hotel to stay at this time for a long time because of its location and also for the service. In the evenings there are plenty of restaurants around including the restaurant/pizzeria of the hotel which is good too. In the morning a walk around the streets of Mellieha is a must.

Excellent hotel in convenient location.
Excellent stay, brilliant staff overall and lovely breakfast! Would use again. Our economy room’s balcony overlooked reception which was the only drawback. Offered an upgrade which was no better, so stayed in original room. Really enjoyed our stay!
