Not up to Inetrcontinental standards
There is a serious humidity problem at the hotel in general. We had to change the room, it got slightly better but still very humid and it was hard to sleep. Staff is really nice and breakfast is ok but aprat from those the condition of the hotel is definitely not up to the Inetrcontinental standards throughout the world.

Great option for both business and pleasure
Great that the hotel has been renovated. For business this is a very good option in Malta. You also have pools and access to a beach. Sometimes it can be noisy because of the nightclubs nearby.

THe hotel is really great and the restaurant staff were really first class. ONe small negative was the private beach area which played the same terrible music sequence every day at top volume. In fact when i went for walks up the hill on the otherside of the bay i could still hear it. Totally unnecessary to have the loud music, especially as it was such a terrible choice

Staff are great and really helpful. You have the choice of an outdoor pool with sun loungers, or beach club (which is small) but a nice alternative to the pool. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool seems to have become a childrens play area more than a swimming pool, and the stream room actually had quite a lot of tiles missing off the seat, which could actually cut you if you sat on them and this really needs sorting. Be mindful that the area seems to have become the spot for 'gentlemens clubs' that are right at the back of the hotel. It's the walk through to Spinola Bay where you will definitely want to go for those waterside restaurants. And really isn't a nice walk behind the hotel and doesn't feel very safe.
