GOOD DEAL FOR A HOTEL
Upon entering the hotel you will be very amazed by the “museum-like” vibe in the entrance, particularly the very big chandelier and the library. The decorations of the hotel and the interior design has been very well preserved. You can see the european style of the interior. It made me feel like i was way back in th 1900’s. this hotel is very historic THE STAFF - very accommodating and helpful 5 stars, most of them speak spanish, & there were a few who spoke english FOOD - it was not the best LOCATION - was walking distance to most restaurants ROOMS - old & stuffy, but very spacious, the only problem i encountered was the lamps kept flickering despite it being turned off which was kinda creepy, & due to covid most restaurants close at 5pm. so we ordered out & had a problem cause we cant eat at the lobby/resto & our room didnt really have a table to where we could eat the bed is super huge PRICE - well priced WIFI - very good wifi i appreciated that i can use the gym during covid times, you need to book it one day ahead & its only 1hr and 1 person use which is really good lastly, if you are looking for just a place to stay and you dont mind whether the room feel stuffy & old then this hotel is a good deal its a 20minute drive to downtown it is close the park & chapultepec castle a good enjoyable 30minute walk overall it was a very good deal

Good
Grand areas, dated rooms but good value.
Despite the hotel being empty I think I was given the worst room because I booked on an app? Room was large, tiny window looking into another room and no outlook. Hotel common areas are grand and historic. Rooms are large and good value for money but in desperate need of a touch up. It was only one night so overall a good stay.

A classic old dame
A majestic dame of a hotel. The public areas are gorgeous. You really feel the opulence of a bygone era. The rooms are spacious but could do with some updating. The cleanliness was excellent especially with covid. Room service was slow the first time and I think they forfeit my order but the next time it was quick. It was a tricky time as Mexico City went into lockdown again.

Experience the history
Absolutely beautiful hotel with lots of amazing history and great service overall. Instep of staying in regular typical modern hotel l recommend reliving the past of European classic hotel with a dash of old Hollywood glamour. Location is central to everything.
