Very good
Pleasant stay. It was during COVID so it was very quiet, but relaxing none the less.

The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable but from the moment we tried to check in there was an extremely stressful vibe from all the staff. The receptionist was snappy, answered 10 phone calls in between checking us in...you can imagine how frustrating that was having to wait every two minutes for another phone call. We were told when we arrived the restaurant was fully booked, we could not have dinner or lunch at our own hotel and the nearest restaurants are a car journey away when we couldn’t drive as we were drinking wine (obviously). They ‘let us’ get food as takeaway for dinner to eat in our rooms...not the romantic vibe we were looking for. Lunch the next day we were told we couldn’t even get take away, we actually just had to go home early they couldn’t accommodate us any food! We ended up at McDonalds! The staff are all stressed, they didn’t know the rules, at one point they weren’t even going to let us sit down and have a drink. This ruined the whole experience, the relaxing get away was actually a stressful experience and I felt anxious asking to be there for food and drink. I know this is all COVID related and I hope it resolves soon but we had a ruined experience which is a shame!

Very good
Nice spacious property. Unfortunately the neighbouring unit had their tv blaring into the early hours. Good facilities.

Nice family business and really friendly. I prefered staying here than a big hotel chain

Scenic and roomy
Rooms were comfortable and roomy, though they are a bit old. Can walk around the grapes growing area and resort which has its unique rustic and scenic look. With our room booking we also got a free pass for wine theatre and tasting.

Decent but dated.
A decent little spot in the Hunter Valley, close to pretty much everything. The place is a bit dated but clean and quiet.

The place was in a natural outback, it’s quite, refreshing and close to vineyard

Could be better.
It’s a bit run down. Needs a facelift. But that might be the norm at the hunter valley. The Xmas lights at the hunter valley gardens were amaizing. But the resort? Is a long drive from there not 5 km as suggested. Perhaps by Air. Breakfast was expensive but ok.
