The hotel is beautiful, and the front desk, valet, concierge staff was very friendly. Both restaurants were only okay. Service was slow and not as friendly, egg whites served raw regularly. Not a fan of the food at all. We had a problem with the heat, and the front desk sent up a very nice repair man who fixed it quickly. He also replaced batteries as the fireplace remote was dead. Unfortunately, the remote wasn't synced to the fireplace, so we were never able to turn the heat up or down, set lighting up or down etc. It made the room feel very cold in the living area and bedroom, and warm in the hall. We stayed in the penthouse for 4 nights. You are supposed to have housekeeping twice daily. One day, we had had no service at all, which meant no room service tray removal or replenished coffee. When I called the front desk, they told me to put the tray outside, which I did. They send housekeeping up to bring replacement coffee, and she told me she cleaned our room. I asked her to come in look at the waste baskets that weren't emptied and unmade bed. We aren't messy people, so it looked clean beside those things. We hang the towels back up ourselves. I was a bit disappointed that after spending over $2k for 4 days that I would have to prove that my suite wasn't clean. We also were supposed to get turn down service daily. It happened only on our last day. Still we'll be back as the valet, concierge, and front desk really carry the place, and the location can't be beat.
