"SG Clean" hotel? This hotel is very old and the executive room is in poor condition. A bit smelly indeed. Not a good choice for business travel. There are many better hotels in Singapore.

Check in/Check out service is terrible. There is no queue poles and when hotel guest jump the queue the staff do not know how to handle the situation. Bad experience in checking out . Great location; Old Hotel
Location - 350mrs from Clark Quay MRT; 400mrs from China Town MRT. about 1km from the famous Clark Quay Central area. 550mrs from the Pagoda Street China Town Hotel - very old property. Nothing special apart from the location. The staff is helpful but leaves a lot to desire. To be honest they did give us an early check-in since we were traveling with kids & parents. Rooms - we changed our rooms twice. We had booked the superior rooms. Initially we were assigned the rooms on the 4th floor. Oh man, it was nothing short of a disaster. The rooms had no natural light, overlooking the hotel lobby. The biggest deal breaker was the room layout. Half of the washroom was in the room that is, bathing & toilet area were separate and wash basin was in the room. Upon requests to the hotel manager the next day, we were assigned new rooms on the 8th floor. These rooms were way better. Overlooking the street with the view of the Singapore Flyer. Most importantly the entire washroom/bathroom was in a single place. Service - Rooms are cleaned once every 3days but you can ask for new towels if needed. You need to fill your own water bottles using the water purification system near the lift lobby on each floor. Pool - semi-open pool area and good for kids! Overall - Old property with nothing great excep the location. I would skip it for better hotels may be near Little India or Bugis
