For the property being as old as it was I found it quite comfortable.

Exceptional
Give staff a raise! They deserve it!
There were some booking issues (my fault) but staff was so nice, helpful, and very accommodating. Due to renovations (I think), only one elevator was functioning but it wasn’t a hassle except when joining people who refuse to wear masks. Front desk staff are awesome. They deserve raises for the crap they have to deal with. Met and interacted with some of the cleaning staff and they were just as friendly. Good people working hard, I appreciate that. Will come again!

They said the hot tub was open and it wasn't we tried to get back into the hotel by the door we came out for the hottub and couldn't get back in that way. We had to walk outside clear around back to the front of the hotel to get back in. Was very unhappy with that. They checkout lady was very rude and unprofessional wouldn't go over our bill and charges.

Past Glory
Back in the day this use to be one of the top hotels in Boise. Still well located with easy access to the downtown. The hotel is about 60% of its past glory in my opinion. But, for the price I paid, worth the stay....still

Horrible manager and no heat
For 2 out of the 4 nights stay, my room didn't have heat. The temperature didn't get above 63 degrees. When I called the front desk, I was told the system was old and that it would take awhile to kick on. I then later called back down when the issue wasn't resolved, I called again and they sent someone to look at it. I was told the valves were backwards which is why it wasn't working and I needed to switch rooms. After 2 nights of no heat and having to move all my stuff up 3 floors, I spoke with the manager who didn't even offer to compensate or offer anything due to the inconvenience. Never again. The manager then told me that if I complained, the complaint would just go right back to him so it was basically useless.

Okay but receptionist didn’t follow through
The hotel is nice and I’ve stayed there before. Everything was okay except the receptionist at night did not arrange for a shuttle to the airport after she said she would. It was an early flight so I had to scramble to find a ride. Uber came through but it was close. It was so early and the nearest Uber was 15 min away.

Ok for the money. Don’t plan to have breakfast
We paid for the breakfast through the booking which said buffet. The breakfast was continental for $6 per person. We chose to drive somewhere for breakfast instead. Hotels.com needs to update this. Other than that everything was ok. We did get a room with a broken toilet and bed but the front desk moved us to a different room that was much better.
