Roll a bed. Not!
Requested a roll away bed during booking. When I arrived was told can’t have one for the room I booked which had 2 double beds. Really made sleeping arrangements miserable. 3 grown men in 1 room.

Not reccomended, not what a Crowne plaza should be
Old and uncomfortable mattress, The daily room cleaning service is not being done unless you ask for it (the hotel makes sure to at least save one day of cleaning by not informing you) When asking to get the room cleaned, the service was not done. Walls fixed with duct tape Leaking faucet, leaking toilet Limited breakfast options Only good thing is location. I do not reccomend this hotel, too expensive for what you get. Go one or two blocks down on canal street...

Poor 2.0
Horrible plumbing at the Astoria Crown Plaza
The room was a nice size, but after returning to the room, I realized that the running water that kept me up all night was from the broken toilet and the tub, both were running all night.

This is my second time staying here and I love the location! Super close to everything but quiet when you come home and usually security at the door. The place is very clean and comfortable. Only negatives this time were that I wish the pool was open, they should offer complimentary breakfast and on site parking cost is too high.

May stay
The hotel was comfortable, the neighborhood was noisy, which is to be expected. The hotel did not clean our room in the middle of our 5 day stay, which we had requested.

Not worth it.
The hotel room definitely did not look like pictures. Hardly no amenities and staff was not friendly. “Valet parking” was ridiculous. They went and parked your car and then you were required to take a shuttle to get it and drive back to the hotel to load it. Definitely not worth the “valet” price!! Charged $50 per night and where they worked it had a sign with $20 per night....

Check in was a breeze, and our room was ready earlier than expected which was great. The room was clean & comfortable, but could have used some minor repairs and updates. There were also some particularly nasty stains in the main 4th floor corridor. All that being said, you really couldn’t ask for a better location. The hotel is on the corner of Bourbon St & Canal, and both bus & street car stops are just out the front door. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to the river & Cafe Du Monde. There are also a multitude of excellent food options in easy walking distance. Overall, we will absolutely stay here again.

First trip and learned some things
It was our first time to New Orleans and our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking Canal Street. The music from the Canal and Bourbon was blaring until 3 am most nights. The walls between rooms are thin and I often heard our neighbors discussions if they were in the room and many partiers talking/yelling in the hallways. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible and we understood that New Orleans is a party city. The actual room was nice. If you don’t mind hearing your neighbors, loud music, or numerous cars revving their engines on Canal, then you’ll enjoy the hotel. If you would mind hearing all of that, maybe ask for a room on a higher floor and towards the inside of the hotel.
