The staff weekend very friendly and helpful, we had a problem trying to find the hotel as the road was closed so I called the receptionist was very helpful trying to give instructions. The hotel itself was great and we had an amazing view of the castle, my only niggle with the room was that it was very warm even when I turned the heating off and the shower in the bathroom was twisted so the spray kept hitting the wall instead of the bath and not very powerful

The hotel didn’t blow me away but worth it for the amazing view of the castle. Mid range hotel so you get what you pay for but all and all a quiet city break in a time of covid restrictions that served its purpose. All good :)

Wonderful location in the heart of Edinburgh. Good customer service and facilities close to the castle surrounded by a number of bars, cafes and restaurants. The hotel benefits by having its own car park. Good covid precautions in place.

The VIP Expedia room had a fantastic view of the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and made fresh to order and served to your table. There is parking at the hotel for £12 a day.

A clean and new hotel in a very historic area of this beautiful city. Our room was large and had two large beds which felt very luxurious. The cherry on top of the cake was the view of Edinburgh’s castle from our room. The only negative was that check-in felt very slow and there was quite a queue building up.
