Very good
Small rooms; excellent service
My partner and I stayed at the Fort Garry Hotel for a Valentine's day weekend. The hotel room was pretty small, but that's to be expected as it's an old building. The room was comfortable anyway. It was clean except that a lot of dirt (or sand??) was swept under the carpet in the main room. We dined at the restaurant the first night and the staff was kind, honest, and helpful.

Exceptional
Although the restaurant could not be be open due to Covid they provided a lovely snack bag and serving of wine for each of us in the evening and a breakfast snack bag in the morning along with coffee and juice. It was appreciated!

Beautiful hotel, beds are super comfy with good bedding and great pillows. Just wish there was a coffee maker, however it may be missing due to the Covid restrictions. Room is big with high ceilings and the air is not stuffy. Would definitely stay here again!

Just Average
Anniversary night stay, had to stand and wait a long time before someone helped with check-in which was weird because we were the only ones waiting to check in. The queen room is small and plain. Everything is clean and the hotel is full of character.

Not only is this a beautiful, historical building; the staff were so lovely and the room was so clean! It was conveniently close to The Commons and Riverwalk. The only downfall is there is no coffee machine in the room, but they do offer free coffee on the main floor!
