Highly recommend
We had excellent stays before and after our recent NCL cruise. Beautiful views from the canal side of the hotel, watching ships leave and enter the canal. Pool area very relaxing and clean. Staff very friendly and ready to help with all needs. I left a phone on a taxi and staff was relentless in helping identify the driver and get the phone back. Can't recommend this facility more, particularly given the price point compared to downtown hotels.

We easily upgraded to a canal front room that was definitely worth the additional charge. Fantastic view. Disappointed with the food offerings. Went to not included buffet breakfast once. Surprised that the only restaurant was TGIFridays. It was actually good but since there were no other restaurants convenient to hotel a bit of a surprise choice.

The hotel was conveniently located for everything we wanted to do during our stay. The beautiful ocean view balcony room was perfect. Very clean. Great staff. I loved the idea of the hotel having a wheel chair for use, shame it couldn't accommodate larger people, but they really tried to be very helpful.

Little things could make it much better.
The staff was very nice and friendly. The bar staff made a great drink. The room was very so so. The fan was broken in the bathroom, there was obvious grim build up everywhere. The paint job was very sloppy and fixer upper. The safe was broken as well. The door to the balcony was nearly impossible to open from the balcony. The pool was nice but the hot tub was luke warm and had a greasy scum on top. Overall a cheap place to stay for 2 days with a great view of the mouth of the canal. If you are just sleeping here you are fine. Bed was clean and the maids were very friendly. Overall 6/10.
