Wonderful reception desk personnel! We declined housekeeping when we checked-in & were comped 2 drinks -we chose the beer :) The bldg has been totally reno'd since our last stay. The reserved parking is reasonably priced, but free, local street parking wasn't too hard to find. This is a dog-friendly hotel. We always stay in a private room & were lucky to get an upgrade again; this time to the roomier 'family room.' The nicest aspect of this location is the BIG mix of clients. Families, E. Euro basketball team, senior couples, Italian marching band etc.

Not bad comparing price. Off street parking at own risk (no occurrence so far). Couple of parking from the property extra chargable although expedia says free parking. Only the floor carpet bothered me and could be better cleaned.

Clean, but strange room design
The door situation was weird. You enter through one locked door, whereupon you find yourself in a room with four more doors: one each for two separate rooms and their respective bathrooms. Each room nominally has a private bathroom, but you have to pass through the shared antechamber to reach it. The weirdest part is that the building was clearly designed in traditional hotel style with each room having its own direct door to the hallway and a fully private bathroom. The antechamber is some sort of bizarre modification. It would also have been nice if the room had a fan. Finally, it's worth noting that our room appeared to be acting as a storage unit for spare bunk beds.

Room was clean and spacious, for two adults and two kids, bed was comfortable, nice linens. Parking is free on the street behind the hotel, but there's also paid parking in front of the hotel. Reception staff is very polite and friendly.
