This isn't a hotel. It's a hostile that is going through an AWFUL renovation. I booked 2 rooms for a small work trip strictly based on availability and location. We didn't have cold water for the first 2 days. The rooms looked nothing like the photos on the Hotels.com site. This place is attached to a homeless shelter. When the shelter filled, those who could not get rooms slept in front of the hotel. Do not stay here......for any reason.

Horrible experience
The hotel was under construction and No one told us this in Advance. We were told there was coffee and breakfast available which there wasn’t because of the construction but they charged us the regular rate anyway offering No discount! We checked in The hotel which had a horrible order. In our room The a/c didn’t work, outside temperature was 75 plus the day we checked in, tv didn’t work, no phone in the room, sheets were not clean blood stains on our sheets. The Only part of our experience with the Hudson River Hotel was the Lady at the front desk. She was very sweet and kind.

Never Again!
This is the first time I have ever left a bad review. My husband and I have stayed in more hotels than we can count. By far, this was the worst place we have ever stayed. There was construction being done in the lobby which was not a problem. However, the room was disgraceful. The bed was comfortable but we would put nothing on the floor except our shoes. The bathroom was a disgrace. Anything that was metal was rusty, including the dirty, rusty, used washcloth that was stuffed in the tissue dispenser, no tissues. Absolutely disgusting! The desk clerk did nothing about it was brought to her attention. Nothing professional about this place. 0 stars. 100% overpriced.

Lost my reservation, very unhelpful
They lost my reservation and were overbooked so I had to find another hotel on my own at 1030pm, despite confirming earlier in the day when I left my bags at the desk that I had a reservation and could check in anytime after 3pm, including later evening when I anticipated I would return. Did not lift a finger to help me locate another hotel option, ask desk clerk was "waiting on the manager to call back".
