After finding out they didn't have the actual room we booked (King studio) & basically told us to deal with it because there's nothing they could do, they gave us a 2 queen room. The lady at the desk was polite, but barely more. The manager refused to come out from the back to speak with us. All because we booked through Hotels.com instead of their website, and blamed the room issue on that whole saying they were at full capacity (though I'm positive they weren't). The shower was broken with nothing but scalding hot water. A friendly maintenance man came to try to fix it, turned the hot water down & in turn gave us nothing but cold water. The breakfast was mediocre at best with minimal variety, limited to runny eggs and croissants still frozen in the center. The elevators were incredibly slow & creaky, the building was dated, the beds were only ok, but the linens were stiff and a bit scratchy. I was completely baffled at the rating they currently have because the place wasn't wonderful and the people were incredibly rude (less the maintenance man) and unhelpful with no compassion or courtesy.
